Early 1950's - 
Five Kolquist Brothers started in business with service stations located in the Duluth area.

Late 1950's - 
Harbor City Oil expanded into the fuel oil business  for homes and businesses continuing to build the reputation they are known for today.
Mid 1970's - 
Second generation of Kolquists started working for their fathers, continuing on with the tradition of customer first service combined with fair and honest pricing.

Late 1990's - 
Harbor City Oil added propane to their fuel oil and gasoline delivery business and continues to be the area's most trusted and reliable fuel delivery company.
